Macro Custom Knob Keyboard with Simpyt software?

I saw a few of these usb/bluetooth keyboards with knobs here and on certain sites east of here. I dont know if the software would work correctly.   Or trust it.

Then I stumbled across a post mentioning Sympyt. https://simpyt.fisadev.com/

Has anyone tried this or heard of it?
