Ala13_Kokakolo Posted Friday at 10:33 AM Posted Friday at 10:33 AM When in the corsair I can sintonice the AGANA (AGA) beacon in the radio. Are there any orther beacons?
Ala13_Kokakolo Posted Friday at 11:23 AM Author Posted Friday at 11:23 AM (edited) Ok. I am going to answer to myself. This are the freq I was able to get in Marianas WWII. AGA (190 - 440) Agana ORO (450 - 470) Orote AIR (480 - 510) Airfield 3 CHA (520 - 550) Charon Kanoa GUR (560) Gurguan Point Well, this is embarrising... now I am in a carrier in the middle of the sea and I get ROT (Rota) in freq 500. So i assume it will depend where you are you can get one or other, or I do not know. Edited Friday at 12:36 PM by Ala13_Kokakolo

If so, your answer is in the manual, section 5.2.3.3, Note #1. It says, "As there is no correlation between the frequency range..." You'll find the rest of the answer in the manual. Thank you to point me to the manual. I did not realised we have on already for the corsair. What i read in the manual is "NOTE 1: As there is no correlation between the frequency range on the C-26 remote, the manual frequencies are set automatically at mission launch. Each airfield on the map will have a specific frequency. The frequencies are distributed in equal increments over the frequency range of the C-26 remote. The lowest frequency is always allocated to the aircraft carrier, if available. This is a convention specific to the simulator. So is s bit useless if you have several ships because they all take all frequencies. Even the enemy ships are emiting (is there anywasy to stop a ship from emiting?) If i want to use presets In Marianas WW2 I could not find specific radio freq for the different bases in the document (as the example in the manual which uses Caucasus map) I was trying to find them manually. Now I realised my mistake. I will try again with the presets, using 1 Khz increments and see if can find them. However, the presets do not work in multiplayer so tuning the manual radio to find where are we going is our only option.
GTFreeFlyer Posted Sunday at 04:26 PM Posted Sunday at 04:26 PM You have to set up the presets in the mission editor. Click on an airfield in the editor and view its info. You’ll find the frequency here. It will work as long as you aren’t playing a mission on a dedicated server, or launching from a dynamic spawn slot on a local MP server. I’m sure they’ll fix that soon enough. Main radio (C-38) on, CW/Voice switch in CW position. Preset channel as desired. Then, on the remote unit two boxes aft of the C-38 (I forgot the actual name of it at the moment) set that CW/ Voice switch to Voice. 1 My DCS Missions: Band of Buds series | The End of the T-55 Era | Normandy PvP | Host of the Formation Flight Challenge server Supercarrier Reference Kneeboards IRL: Private Pilot, UAS Test Pilot, Aircraft Designer, and... eh hem... The marianas ww2 airfield freq do not work in presets, the carriers they do only in SP. The airfields do not in any. Edited 6 hours ago by Ala13_Kokakolo 1
