F1 View Mouse Scroll Wheel Direction vs F2 View. Zoom or Transpose Question.

I apologize if this is in the wrong area.  It's not a bug I'm posting about, just a "problem" I'm having.  I must be missing something simple.  I tried doing searches here but didn't find this question/topic.

In F1 view, when I roll the scroll wheel forward, I get a zoom in, moving closer to the panel.

In F2 view, I get the opposite direction of movement... transposing backward, moving farther away from the aircraft.

I'd like the movement to be consistent, whether it's a zoom or a transpose, as I switch between the two views often.  I'd appreciate any help I can get on this.
