make night sky more realistic, including milky way

As someone who has spent a lot of time under nods, nvgs, whatever you want to call it. I would absolutely love to have an updated night sky just to stare at. But I can see that essentially being a complete overhaul as the sun/moon cycle is accurate based on dates.
