In the lower picture (from 2001) you see the original layout with the four locks in the northern part, but they are inactive since 1972. The height difference between the upper and the lower channel of the Oder-Havel -Kanal is 36 meters. The new ship lift installation was finished in 2022 and not present in the 80's. In the third picture on the left side you can see the old Finow-Kanal. The old ship lift is in service since 1932 until now. And it's one of the main attractions in the Finow area. I find it best to paste my pictures as either "plain text", (which gets as an option below the text box when pasting anything), or links from imgur. It seems you may have done this, as I see no "null" text anywhere. After I've pasted the pictures or links, then I add the text.
