Hello, writing to report on what I've noticed re: fighting the AI.

1. The AI is RIDICULOUSLY accurate with their guns from long distances. They are so good, they can not only tag you but nail you good and hard with high aspect shots as if they can predict where you are going and are locked on. The only way to describe it would be to call it aimbot.

2. UFO flight model. I am fighting aircraft known for being heavy and not able to turn well and there they are, turning on a dime.

3. Speed - It's a bit silly being in pursuit and diving on ai aircraft, nearly the same distance as you from the enemy bombers you are escorting and have them blaze past you at mach 2 despite your aircraft being the faster of the two. I was diving at the A8 pushing past 400mph and he just disappeared as he was CLIMBING towards the B17s.

4. Awareness. It's like they know where your plane is at all times and are looking at you constantly. The moment you start diving on them, they are already turning to create a high-aspect shot, even if they are currently in pursuit of another target. It seems like they are omniscient.

It's nice to have challenging AI, but not one that cheats. It almost makes the game unplayable and definitely not enjoyable to have P47s fly around like Spitfires.

Please make it fair. I actually like that when you press the AI, they attempt to do reversals on you.

The general flight model for AI has been in development for years now. It is known that the existing flight model for AI is not the same physics-based model that players fly by, but a simpler model that results in the UFO behavior. That behavior is magnified within visual range and with slower aircraft.

This is the single biggest issue that keeps me away from DCS warbiards and early jets. I'm very much looking forward to the new flight model eventually being implemented. I'm on the forum today looking for any updates beyond what was released about a year ago.
