ClearDark Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Sorry if this has been asked before, i searched through the forums and didn't find a mention so i figured I'll ask. So, I know that if you start a mission with 6 pre-programmed waypoints for the PVI-800 you can change them on the fly using "EDIT" mode and re-entering latitude and longitude. But what happens if i have let's say, 3 waypoints. And i would like to add another one (make it 4). Is there a way to accomplish that? Or that's only done in mission editor as i understand. Thanks in advance, CD
Nick Asbestos Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Of course it is possible. Imagine the real Ka-50 pilot who hasn't the ME. And it's done the same way you just described for pre-existing waypoint. For further details, read the manual
GGTharos Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 It is possible and it is also easy. The procedure for creating a full route plan in the PVI is outlined in the manual. ClearDark Posted August 15, 2009 Author Posted August 15, 2009 I've read the entire PVI-800 section and i could only see how to change waypoints sequences. Can anyone direct me to a specific page, that would be great. Thanks :)
Rhino4 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Just change the pvi-800 to edit mode and press "4". Then add/change the coordinate just as you would if there was already a coordinate entered for the waypoint. Simple. Same thing if you had no waypoints at all. Just change to edit mode, click "1", and start inputting data...Kinda common sense innit?
