Is the Pimax Crystal Super an always online headset, after paying it off?

Hello everybody. 

looking at the pay half now half later thing, I am assuming I need to have the headset connect to pimax servers every time I use it to verify the headset payment status?

And after I have paid the headset off completely, will it still need to connect to pimax servers or can I play offline with it?

No, you won't. Once it's paid for you can click "Account" and turn it offline permanently, though you then won't get any software update notifications. Turn it back online occasionally for those, or wait for announcements from Pimax here for manual download.

Go into your account in the PimaxPlay and hover your cursor over your avatar picture top-right. You can select "Offline Mode" there.

I had the same question. Glad its not required to be online after paying for it.
