Teknetinium Posted August 28 Posted August 28 (edited) SYRIAN INCIDENT - DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN SQUADS vs. SQUADS From the creators of SATAC and pioneers of the first-ever squad dynamic campaign as Georgian Incident and public server with integrated stats dating back to 2011, 51st MDT proudly presents Syrian Incident, a groundbreaking event designed to revive large-scale squads vs squads multiplayer dynamic combat in DCS. Syrian Incident is not another public mission. It’s a fully dynamic, squads-versus-squads battlefield where your actions shape the outcome of the war. This campaign demands precision planning, flawless coordination between the squads, and exceptional execution. Each participating squad will follow carefully planed flight plans, crafted by their faction’s generals and commanders, as both sides fight for dominance in a constantly evolving battlespace. The time has come to signup and take part in the testing phase, where we evaluate not only the mission itself but also the readiness of the squads who will fly the campaign. This is your opportunity to prove your squad's capability in A2A, A2G, MR or Logistics operations while paving the way for what will be the most immersive campaign DCS pilots have experienced. The Syrian Incident is entering its final phase of development, ready to showcase what DCS was truly meant to be! 1. Structure: The Syrian Incident is a squad vs squad multiplayer campaign based on the Fowl-Dynamic Campaign System, featuring strategic command options for participating coalitions. It offers an immersive and realistic combat experience set within a complex geopolitical military scenario. 1.1. The Syrian Incident consists of multiple events (referred to as “days”) in which squads participate. Assuming the role of one side of the conflict throughout the campaign, expected to run for several months. Each day is conducted once a week, with missions lasting approximately six hours. 1.2. Each coalition includes 8+ DCS squadrons specializing in both air-to-air and air-to-ground operations. 1.3. The Syrian Incident will feature major scripted events, introduced when tactically appropriate to enhance immersion. The timing of these events will be determined collaboratively by both campaign moderators and commanders, primarily for balancing purposes. 1.4. The Syrian Incident is subject to future updates and expansions under the Fowl-Dynamic Campaign System. 2. Basic Rules: Each coalition must appoint two individuals to serve as Commanders (Generals). These appointments may be revised later in the campaign if the original Commanders (Generals) are unable to fulfill their duties. 2.1. The position should preferably be assigned to a high-ranking and responsible squad member, capable of strategic planning, coordinating ground and air assets, and managing the distribution of reinforcement resources. 2.2. Each week, the Generals make critical tactical decisions by planning and executing operations that can significantly alter the operational landscape in the following Syrian Incident day. Sound strategic judgment is essential to achieving combat success. 2.3. Each coalition may field a maximum of 25 participating pilots per mission day. Pilots are limited to one life per mission. A disconnect occurring after takeoff will be considered a loss of the aircraft. Reserve pilots may be used to replace those who have been eliminated. 2.4. Mission conditions, including weather effects, will change randomly each day of operations. Time will advance in six-hour increments per mission day. Teknetinium Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 (edited) Syrian Incident – Full Immersion Overview Commanders/Generals During each live event, the appointed Commander for each coalition will be responsible for issuing the overall battle plan and guiding their side’s strategic objectives. If a coalition does not have an active Commander or the assigned leader cannot provide effective direction, it becomes the collective responsibility of the coalition to appoint a new one, ensuring that operations remain coordinated and effective at all times. Fully Streamed Live The best part is that Syrian Incident will be fully streamed, allowing viewers to follow the action live or catch the replay of key moments! To enhance the viewing experience, both coalitions will be operating on designated GCI and ONGUARD frequencies, which our streamers will have access to. This means you’ll get a front-row seat to the coordination between GCIs and squads, as well as direct squad-to-squad communication. As the modern digital battlefield becomes more transparent, Commanders will need to employ creativity, deception, and diverse tactics to outmaneuver the enemy. This is teamwork and immersion at its finest—the essence of DCS brought to life. Tune in, listen in, and experience the pulse of the battle like never before. This should be DCS teamwork at its most immersive. Resource Management The Heart of the Campaign and a core principle of Syrian incident is the management of limited resources. As the theatre of operations is vast, assets will become stretched over time. Resupplies will only occur every third day, making every loss significant. Immediate tactical loss of a pilot's sortie and an airframe on station. The long-term strategic impact on your coalition's overall strength and capability. Pilots and commanders will quickly realize that preserving assets is not just about personal survival, it is essential for sustaining the entire war effort. A lost aircrafts or ground unit not delivered on station today could mean an undefended sector tomorrow. Sponsors Cherry on the top, nearly all of our valued sponsors have confirmed their support and will be providing DCS modules as special awards and giveaways. DCS prizes and giveaways will be awarded to both viewers and pilots who demonstrate exceptional performance across various statistical categories and disciplines. Whether you're dominating in the air or engaging with the participating community on the ground, your skills and participation will be recognized and rewarded. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate excellence and add an extra layer of excitement to the event. A huge thank you to our generous sponsors for making this possible! Teknetinium Posted Friday at 01:54 PM Author Posted Friday at 01:54 PM (edited) SYRIAN INCIDENT - DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN SQUADS vs. SQUADS - DAY 4 We are pleased that the Incident campaign continues to push forward with strong momentum. It is inspiring to see so many pilots, squadrons, and commanders/generals actively engaged, and even more squads joining to support coalitions while the campaign evolves. The commitment and teamwork** is what bring this DCS dynamic MP battlefield to life. Our community would also like to express our **appreciation for developers** who are working relentlessly to improve both the mission and the server infrastructure. EagleEye, MadDog, KillerDog, EvilKipper, and AlphaGator have been instrumental in keeping this ambitious project moving forward. This Saturday, 22 November, operations will run from 1200Z to 2000Z. The first two hours will be dedicated primarily to logistics, giving logistics pilots the opportunity to transfer supplies from HUBs to airfields and FOBs following the reinforcement day. NOTE: This is a one-time exception***. After Day 4, all logistical operations will be fully player-driven, handled exclusively by participants flying logistics aircrafts. This transition brings us closer to the intended Incident concept, where strategic planning, resource management, and squad coordination define the outcome of the war. SPORMANSHIP: To ensure accurate tactics analysis, players are strongly encouraged not to leave their aircraft prematurely. If an aircraft is critically damaged, pilots should either crash with the aircraft or eject when possible, as this preserves the integrity of mission data and post-event statistics. Thank you all for your continued patience, dedication, and adaptability as we refine and improve the Incident Campaign. Together, we are shaping one of the most immersive and strategically rich squad-vs-squad experiences ever created in MP DCS arena. Prepare your squadrons, align your strategies, and get ready for another decisive day in the Syrian Incident. 51st don't build character - We reveal it!
