Binding Heading switch to Orion 2 Knob

Hi community, struggling to successfully control heading switch with the heading knob on the Orion 2. It binds but fails incrementally increase or decrease. Visibly interacting with the heading switch but just going back and forth. Any help much appreciated.

This has been brought up here as well as in the WW subforum multiple times. It doesn‘t work because of the short signal the encoder sends. Not sure if either side (ED or WW) could actually fix it.

Remember that the Orion2 is somewhat „Hornet-inspired“ but not a replica.

I ended up using these to scroll through the kneeboard pages for example.

Ah ok, makes sense.  The CRS knob works when bound to the switch? Is there a difference? Thank you for the response and suggestion, much appreciated.
