cashman75 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Hi, I recently got my Super. I also own a Crystal Light for some time. The problem with my Super is that, my headset loses tracking in DCS. I tried various settings both in DCS and Pimax Play (90hz, 72 Hz and different graphic settings) but no joy. One thing I noticed is that the tracking loss is happen more with during radio transmissions (both in game or SRS) and sometimes even on the main screen without the radio chatter. I'm not sure only the transmissions is the culprit, but my guess is that it happens more when I see spikes (Both on CPU and Frame Time windows) DCS performance window. (which happens on spawns, radio chatter etc.) Also, I do not have any problem like that with Crystal Light. Actually I read your post even before getting my Super and was praying to have a smoother experience than yours but life happens. :) I also tried the suggestions in the thread but did not have a positive outcome until now. What's strange is that I did not have a tracking problem with PCL.(I have it for 3 months now and the only problem I have is occasional stutters when looking left or right in the cockpit in dense urban areas. ) I also have a Quest 3 currently and used a Reverb G2 before and did not have any problems whatsoever with either of them when dialed in the settings. Will see how it develops, I continue to try different options. Best regards.
MadMonty Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago Good hint is to use passthrough (just double tab the headset to switch to passthrough) and watch if any light sources are flickering. If so, shut them off, cover them or try to reduce lighting until you don´t see a flickering. My room was way too bright at the beginning and I had to reduce the light sources. 1 PC: Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming | AMD Ryzen 7800X3D | Palit GeForce RTX 4090 Game Rock OC | 64 GB Patriot VIPER VENOM DDR5-6000 Input: Brunner CLS-E FFB Base | Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick & Throttle | Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder | WinWing Phoenix MIP (VR) - F16 ICP - PTO2 | VPC SharKA-50 Collective VR: Pimax Crystal Super 50PPD Motion-Platform: Motionsystems PS-6TM-150 | Monstertech MTX Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@madmontys6dofmotionplatfor386/featured
