The title says it all: Afghanistan map not available anymore after Sept-17 update. I tried to unselect and reselect Afghanistan map in DCS launch manager - without success. Afghanistan map and all associated content in DCS is not available anymore after latest DCS update. It is still available on SSD.

You didn't uninstall or disable it by chance? Go into the module manager and check the status. If it's there and it's not disabled, try to uninstall it, then exit DCS and perform a repair.

Cheers!

Well, you have basically disabled every module in DCS according to your log file. Try to enable in the game and not in the Launcher.

Thanks. Enabling via DCS terrain menu fixed it.

But it's strange. I never used the terrain enable menu in DCS and always used the launcher for this. In the launcher all maps still shows as enabled. Btw Iraq was disabled too. Maybe something weird happened during yesterdays 347GB download procedure which stopped due to server overload after 90GBs and I had to restart it.

Issue fixed and closed.

I believe it's safe to say that the Launcher is still very much in a beta state. It has a history of resetting values perfectly set in the game.
Anyway! Easy fix, nothing's better than that! Excellent!

Cheers!

Thanks for the hint, although atm I didn't notice any VMM related issues on my system. DCS runs fine with >100fps @ 5120x1440px and no visible stutters on my system. That's good enough for me.
