Been away from the Chinook for some time. I used to be able to taxi the Chinook on rear wheels, with cyclic trim 2 inches aft, AFCS both and LCTs auto. Not able to do so anymore. Did something change with the flight model or am I doing something wrong?

Also, she is impossible to steer with the tail wheel steering while doing a 4 wheel taxi (AFCS Off, tried both with LCTs auto and LCTs manual full aft)

Taxiing (4-wheel) is strange… Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn’t.

4-wheel – LCT auto, AFCS off, and doing it really slowly (2–4 kts). For the steering knob I use the twist axis on my joystick. Sometimes it just keeps turning or refuses to turn, and I have to completely stop and start again. About a 60–70% success rate…

2-wheel seems to work for me, I do it the same way as you, only using a little bit less aft cyclic trim (between 1.5–2 inches; when I use 2 inches, I just go backwards, but it can be my mystake) for the initial “front lift.”
