I'm wondering what GCI will look like in the MiG-29A, given that the version we have isn't equipped with Lazur or any similar system. Will GCI work in such a way that the AI speaks over the radio the same way AWACS does when we ask for a 'Bogey Dope'? Except that it would be through ground-based radars instead? Also, will GCI be available in other languages, than Russian and English, and will it be possible to replace audio files so that the language could be Polish or German for example? Also, if it does work the way I think, will the radar data be sent to a command station that will guide the aircraft, or will we have to ask each radar individually?

I didn't know about it, it works like datalink and contact from lazur is displayed as solid line?

Is the speed and altitude information of locked bandit presented only when guided by GCI ? It doesn't appear with lock currently like in FC3 version.

Not conventional datalink in the western sense, but a one-way system feeding intercept geometry and cues. I am expecting only visual indicators on the HUD and HDD as AG posted. I would love more depth added to GCI, especially on the mission editor front. Your closest analogue in DCS currently would be TAF in the Mirage 2000. I am very interested in how ED is going to implement the system.

Not a line: that’s just on the picture to describe HUD symbology. It shows as a director dot with range, occasional commands, and when turn radar on automatically selects it

yes unfortunately, why I hope we get a flexible Lazur implementation
