Pimax Crystal OG - Quad view extremely blurry / shimmering

Since the last DCS update my Pimax Crystal with Quad view and eye tracking, the view is extremely blurry / shimmering on the edges. I can't tell but the center of the view may be smaller too. I was not like this prior to the last update.

Quick update for anyone with the OG Crystal. There was a recent update with Pimax. I do not believe this issue is related to the recent DCS update. I have seemed to have fixed the issue by doing the following.

Go to your Pimax Device Settings - Games - Dynamic Foveated Rendering- QuadViews - and change your setting to Quality or go to Customize and change the Peripheral Area Resolution to what works for you.

I hope this helps.

VR Pimax Crystal OG + Quad-View Foveated + Eye Tracking

I also have slight banding and flickering in VR. I don't use Pimax's internal Dynamic Foveated Rendering & QuadViews.

I use the conventional version:
mbucchia -> Pimax-OpenXR
mbucchia -> Quad-Views-Foveated
TallyMouse -> QuadViews Companion

That's why I don't think it's because of the Pimax update.

ED: Can you please check this, we had a similar problem a few DCS updates ago.

Thanks and greetings

Same here, the original version still works best when used with XRNeckSafer and other addons..

I've tried all possible settings and none have made any improvement.

You referring to using the Custom option for example in the PimaxPlay software?

Have you tried the solution posted here, a lot of people prefer Mbucchia's Quad-Views-Foveated, and using Tallymouse companion app to configure the multipliers and focal areas. Note that you don't have to switch to using Mbucchia's Pimax OpenXR runtime for this and can continue to use PimaxPlay as the runtime, just ensure you disable Quad Views in PimaxPlay if doing so.
