supersylph Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Is it possible to add night vision devices to the mig-29 like the mi-24 ka-50? 4
CaptPickguard Posted September 24 Posted September 24 PLEASE! If we are allowed to add a GPS unit, surely we should be allowed to add NVGs.

Find if it was used at any point on this platform and send request to BIGNEWY. Otherwise any module could have anything you wish for. 3

The cockpit is not NVG compatible. Maybe some operator actually did modify it at some point, but I really doubt it. 7 hours ago, supersylph said: Is it possible to add night vision devices to the mig-29 like the mi-24 ka-50? KA-50 has NVG's always has. Not sure on the 24, but that pit isn't actually NV compatible. The soviets did experiment with Gen0 NVG's in Afghanistan, but well, you don't want that modeled. 3 New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1) Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).
Thirsty Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I agree, it would be a nice addition, even if it doesn't have the same usebility as on a western jets, its enaugh for having minimal Like, we already have a civilian navigation system fitted on it, so it wouldn't be out of palce to have a NVE. Plus, would be just fun flying around in a MiG-29 durring zero light condition and being able to see outside, even if the instruments won't be readable with the NVG active. Implementation could also be simple as in the ground crew menu, just like for other aircraft that has can use NVEs 1
