SAM missiles can hit you through the trees

Well, just came back from multiplayer server and i was shot down by SA 8 with the missiles going through 50 to 70m of trees. I was hovering in ka 50 and get low as possible behind thoses trees but still hit...

trees are only concealment not cover. the best thing between you and that missile is Earth.. but it is funny as your missiles probally dont go through the trees, I know most of my hellfires do not.. but maybe do you have a track?
