search radar out of frequency spread LS Ropucha causes lock warning on SPO-15 from ~100nmi away

Hello,

One of the most popular PVP servers has been having severe problems with MiG29FF SPO-15s going off constantly with lock warnings. The mission design makes heavy use of the LS Ropucha landing ship as a target (on the same side as the MiG29). 

After some testing I believe I have isolated that it is the LS Ropucha causing these spurious lock warnings.

In the mission editor, with the only units on the map being the player MiG29FF and a friendly Ropucha, I was able to replicate that being anywhere within just under 100nm of a Ropucha will cause the RWR to display a lock warning. I have four track files from that test in the mission editor, one with the Ropucha starting 10nm away, one with it starting 50nm away, one with it starting 85nm away, and one with it starting 100nm away. In all cases except 100nm, as soon as the player spawned in there was an immediate lock warning. At the 100nm test, the player had to fly forwards about 20 seconds, and then there was immediately a lock warning without any detection of search radar before that.

Should it trigger the SPO at all?

I wouldn't think a mechanically scanned search radar should give a lock warning at all let alone at that range

Operating in the 3-10  cm radio wave range, as a general-purpose radar detection equipment. 
F band = between 3-4 GHz

I think it might be a general problem with friendly units (or the new SPO-15's response to them). Swapping into an FC3 Mig-29 and there's no problem.
