Persistance

Hello!

I returned to the F4 called by the persistance feature implemented in any mission I fly with the plane. I Started the plane without LCtrol+P, flought a little and landed. But when I turned engines off I left some switches in wrong possition to see if that persists during flights.

I then went to other airport (afghanistan) with instant action (the first flight was instant action aswell but in Nevada). Then on armament I switched to the spanish livery and tail number 32. Same as it was in Nevada. But I didn't see any "load" in the switches to the last position I left them.

Could you please put a little of light here? what is simulated? How do I load the plane propertly once in game? etc... Thanks!

Did you enable it in the Mission Editor or Special Options menu?

 

• NEW: Added Persistent Aircraft system: allows saving and loading the same aircraft—including its properties, wear, tear, and condition—across missions or campaigns. The aircraft state is automatically saved when successfully left on the ground.
  • Enabled via either the Mission Editor or Special Option.
  • If enabled through Special Option, press the “Initialize Persistent Aircraft State” keybind in-game to initialize aircraft state saving (LCTRL+P).
  • Aircraft is tracked by its livery and tail number.
  • Optionally, a Persistent Aircraft Key can be set in the Mission Editor to enforce specific airframe continuity across missions (useful for campaign builders). Mission Editor persistence settings override user Special Options.

Thanks! Yes.. I enabled in special options and followed this procedure:
1. toke a quick flight cold start in Nevada. Put spanish livery plus 32 as tail number in reamunition menu. Didn't apply persistance so I started the plane toke off and landed.

2. In Nevada and cold the plane after turn it off I pressed LCtrol+P and a msg appeared that the plane has persistance. Quit to menu

3. open another quick mission in Afghanistan, changed livery in armament menu to again spanish livery plus 32 tail.

Doing that I didn't see any switch change to the positions I left in first flight. Maybe because I didn't take off and land, as it has to be landed? Would be nice to apply always independently of flying or not the plane, if that is the case.
