mission 5 barrel bombs can't find the helos

I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't find the helo's over the city.  I've tried many times with both my 9's and my amrams using the radar/HMD.  I've gone right over the city multiple times and also tried staying back circling wp2 trying to pick them up on radar.  My situational awareness doesn't show them and my EWR doesn't show them.  I have no problems with the Mig 29's but can't beat the mission without the helo's.    I'm wondering if one of the updates has caused a triggering problem.  I get the radio message that the bombs are going off in the north east part of the city and can see the bombs.  I fly right into the area using all the acquisition modes on my 9's but can't pick up anything....I don't even see them when  flying around and over the city?

Any thoughts?

I, too, am having this exact Problem. I will try to replicate and upload the .mis File Here. 

I was able to fly low level directly over where they used to fly; they are at least for sure no longer flying there (I had seen them there before, so this is definitely different). I believe something changed in the recent updates. If I recall, the AI has significantly changed. I intend to fly directly over the Airfield where they are supposed to launch from and see if they have even moved or if the engines are turning on. ( Just got the 28 Oct Hotfix) So it will be slightly different, but they made no mention of AI Changes. TBH, I am hoping the 28 Oct Hotfix resolves it. Will check back here in a bit.

Flew the Mission Helos are on the ground, no spinning rotors when destroyed, mission registers the kill appropriately (Used Guns), and Aim-9 trackfile is 89MB, can't upload... please notify how I can share

Thanks for that Mdr_D_Kll, I thought maybe I was doing something wrong...good to know at least.  I'll try flying over the air field and take them out just for the fun of it!!

I tried the mission again after the update.  The Helo's are still on the tarmac.  Something else weird though when I got to the airbase I was already bingo fuel...I was only doing 300 knts?  I didn't notice my fuel level when I took off?  I might have taken damage and didn't notice!!  I kept the track file but it's too large to attach.  They always are..not sure why 32mb is the limit, I have yet to get a file that small.
