topol-m Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Very nice, now if you can create skins for DCS: BS based on these pictures it would be great  [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
RedTiger Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 At a glance, I would say those are good enough to be illustrations in a coffee table book on the Ka-50 or other aircraft. Very nice.
Clave Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 Thanks :) I am mostly applying my aircraft to t-shirts... T shirt available here: http://www.printfection.com/claveworks-military/Russia/_s_305242
zakobi Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Have you drawn all the aircrafts on that site? Damn good handwork
Ivonq Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 No offence....but couldn't you have stated: KA-50 T-shirts for sale, I feel misled ;) Nice pics, though..... Make some of the Apache AH-64D and I'd be interested........
zakobi Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 there are Ah-64D, search and you shall find, but i'll do th e hard work for ya ;) http://www.printfection.com/claveworks-military/AH-64D-US-Army-1/_s_306209
Clave Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 All my own work, and yes I have AH-64s from US Army, Netherlands, UAE, Singapore, and Great Britain (WAH-64) Should have Israel and Japan by the end of the weekend... ;) My homepage is this: http://www.clavework-graphics.co.uk/ Quite a lot of the 'profiles' section has found it's way on to t-shirts now, but there's always more to do...
Clave Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 Oh, and here's a segment of the actual t-shirt file - flattened from the PNG by the way - the flag is 30% opacity so it fades into the background quite a lot:
topol-m Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I dont think the place of this thread is in "Military and aviation" part of the forum but... Anyways an idea from me for the japanese flag - you could use this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Naval_Ensign_of_Japan.svg The aircraft will look great with it as a background. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

topol-m Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 hmm, thought that one was from before WWII, but i might be wrong (once again) It was used before WW2 and during until the end of the war in 1945. After that it was reintroduced and is still used by the japanese naval forces. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Ivonq Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Prices are way too steep, mate....20$ for a t-shirt with a custom print...... You can make them yourself for 5$......I hope you do well, but I would defenitely pick another price setting...... just my 2 cents......
wildcat EAF51 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Great mate! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I'm Fighter pilot not a murderer!
Clave Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 I took the Japanese flag two ways: For land based aircraft I kept the sun minus rays: But for carrier aircraft I have changed it to the 'rayed' one:
topol-m Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 (edited) Veeery nice  And why not some Mitsubishi F-2s and F-15Js? Edited September 2, 2009 by topol-m [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Clave Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 :) All in good time... there are a lot done, but a lot more to do...
Sulman Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Prices are way too steep, mate....20$ for a t-shirt with a custom print...... You can make them yourself for 5$......I hope you do well, but I would defenitely pick another price setting...... just my 2 cents...... That's pretty normal by t-shirt standards. The material cost is fractional. If he attempts any kind of volume, there's time, logistics, administration etc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Clave Posted September 4, 2009 Author Posted September 4, 2009 I am at the mercy of the company, if 'mercy' is the right expression - I only make a small amount on each sale, but there is a volume discount for buyers, so it's not too outrageous on the pricing. I suppose I could buy in cheap blank t-shirts, a machine to print them, storage space, and all the dispatch stuff to send them out, but that would be far too much money to set up, and the one thing I don't have is money - in fact I will have no money at all by the end of this month, which was kind of the idea of doing the whole t-shirt thing in the first place... Anyway, I am continuing doing various things here: http://ws-clave.deviantart.com/ in the hope that someone, somewhere, will like it and buy it...
