Question about switching navigation modes (FP-A/B, APR, BNG)

Is it normal that I have to switch to CRS navigation to get back to FP-A after I used APR?

1 go to nav mode, switch to APR

2 switch back to FP-A

3 go to a2g or a2a mode (ufc stays at FP-A)

4 switch to nav it goes back to APR

From what I noticed you have to press button next CRS for the FP-A to stay.
