Hello all

 

My bother and I just bought this game here in South Africa

we have so much fun and fustration just learnign to fly

still haven't fired a gun yet

 

thought i just let you know

 

I have the windows 7 RTM and can tell you it work fine

my setting are all meduim to high

 

the only other issue is the menu gui get behind some of windows gadgets and the new tool bar, but once you click on the menu screen they gone

 

I have a

Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4gh

Nvidia 8800GT

4gb ram

windows 7 (RTM) "Release to Manufature"

Well, when you learn to fire guns... we should organise a mission on a server....cos as you probably know we get crappy ping speeds on international servers lol

 

bet you bought the game at Take2 as well??

actully no found at look and listern was just walking through and found it

had no idea it was on our shelfs

 

no sure why i bought it, life as i know it over

 

are there any local servers, and other players

I use to be part of the il2 crowed, but lost intrested at some piont

even had a track ir 2 but I see i NEED the new one

Ya, getting TrackIr here is a mission. Im looking at importing it myself through one of our suppliers.

 

I haven't actually looked yet to see....maybe theres one or two servers?!?

well I could host one soon

 

but I don't think i could handel more that 4 connections but it it will not be on 24/7

 

even over lan i see the netcode is a little ikky, I'll see after tha patch

I'm in Win7 Professional (RTM) as well with computer in sig. Works perfectly (even FreeTrack ;))

I am also looking forward to Windows 7. However my main gaming machine will use XP SP3 for as long as possible. DCS runs very good on it. However both laptops need upgrade from broken Vista.
