DCS has stopped working....

This comes up after every mission or track or training I watch.

 

I click close and then it takes me back to the DCS main screen.

 

Game works fine but just a bit annoying having to close the window after each session.

 

Any ideas?

 

have uptodate drivers and 1.01

First of all, do you installed BS with admin rights? Did you tried doing clean install?

 

Second, try to update your video drivers, also you can try to use 18*.* video driver versions.

yeah installed with admin rights and clean install (download version from direct 2 drive)

yeah got the latest Nvidia drivers.

 

Tried Shepski replay vid.... after watching.... same message DCS has stopped working... I click close and it goes back to main DCS screen... tried a training video and a mission as well.

uninstalled and reinstalled with admin rights... and patched with admin rights just to make sure... same problem.

I've seen more people with Nvidia 8800 or 9800 and using the driver 190.38 having "issues" lately.

There's been a few threads regarding downgrading the driver to the 18x.xx series for those videocards if I remember it correctly.

I'm not sure why I think I see this trend - but it might be worth a try. :)
