Had to reactivate.....WHY????

Hello All,

 

I have played DCS BS with no problems, and hadn't played for a month since, being a teacher, had to prepare for classes, etc etc etc.

 

Fired it up tonight for a quick mission and was told that I had made changes to my machine and had to reactivate.

 

This is all I have done:

 

1. INstalled NIS 2010

2. Windows Updates

3. ATI 9.9 Drivers for Video and TV Card.

4. Bought a Western Digital 320 USB hard drive.

 

It said that I now have six. I do not believe that any of these things should have caused a need to reactivate.

 

There is no error log, as haven't had problems since the patch but had played it for hours afterwards.

Yes, looks like config change counter was overflowed with those little changes. You can read about it on the StarForce site.
