dooom Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 is there any way i can set my default view so that it is a little further "head back" than it is now? I like the extra peripheral vision i get zoomed back when on ingress. sinelnic Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 You mean head back or wider FOV? you get wider FOV using NumPad "/", and head back using RCtrl+RShift+NumPad "/" Westinghouse W-600 refrigerator - Corona six-pack - Marlboro reds - Patience by Girlfriend "Engineering is the art of modelling materials we do not wholly understand, into shapes we cannot precisely analyse so as to withstand forces we cannot properly assess, in such a way that the public has no reason to suspect the extent of our ignorance." sinelnic Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Try going to: \..\Ka-50\Config\View and editing SnapViews.lua so that at the very end, it looks like: Snap[9][13] = {} Snap[9][13]["viewAngle"] = 120 (or the value of your liking, this is FOV degrees) Snap[9][13]["x_trans"] = 0 Snap[9][13]["hAngle"] = 0 Snap[9][13]["y_trans"] = 0 Snap[9][13]["rollAngle"] = 0 Snap[9][13]["vAngle"] = 0 Snap[9][13]["z_trans"] = 0 Do not use notepad or wordpad, use Notepad++, google for it, it´s free.
