If you can access the BIOS or have the correct tools, you can overclock most PCs. I don't know if Dell-PCs are protected in that matter, but why should they? It's just a plug-and-play rig that is yours after you buy it, not a leased or rental PC AFAIK. XLR8 Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 I have a Dell XPS 710,and been trying forever to find a way to overclock it. The BIOS are unchangeable. The guy said there was a little known trick to fool it. I thought maybe someone new what he was talking about. Thanks Sorry I meant being able to overclock them.
