Saitek X52 can´t assign buttons, f. cliffs

No matter what function I try to assign,

it is always assigned to button 33 or 34,

that is the MFD control buttons.

 

If I look in control panel, the buttons are not constanly pressed, the game just recognize it as such.

 

Anybody know what I am against up against?

I advice you to only set up your axes in-game and use the Saitek SST profiling software do the button assignments. Make use of all the keyboard-commands that are default in lockon! =)

There are others that have been experiencing the same problem and all (as far as I know) solved it this way...
