Logitech 3d pro help please.

Throttle on joystick does not work in simulator. Im playing Black shark in instant action game mode, really new to all this and just learning.

When I downloaded the software for the stick, I tested everything and the throttle works. I have uninstalled it and tried again and it works when testing, but not when playing black shark.

please any help or ideas.

Welcome to the forums!

I had just the same problem before I figured out that the throttle is not correctly assigned (mapped) in the game settings.

Go into Options and Controls and make sure you select "Ka-50 Game" from the dropdown menu list to change the controls for the arcade game mode.

Then pick Axis Commands or whatever it's called from the other dropdown menu next to it (the Axis Commands should have a different colour than other options I think). Look for Collective (because in a helicopter you control the Collective with your joysticks throttle) and in the column of your joystick, assign (map) it to your IRL joystick throttle.

 

There is a wealth of information available on this and similar topics on the forum. I really advice you to read around, check the FAQ etc.

I'll try to find my very very old post with a profile for just your joystick that I posted in case you're having trouble getting it to work.

I agree that I needed to look around more before posting. I now realize that and will do so in the future. I already found some cool things just reading this forum at ramdom that I never thought of.
