Topo Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Hi all. On my new PC (i7-920, 2Gb RAM, GeForce 260GTX on Win 7 32bit Home Premium) after installed 1.01c patche i've this problem: 1 to 2 seconds freeze at mission start (when HUD simbology lit up), 2 to 3 seconds freeze at my Ka-50 explosion and other minor freeze. During those freeze fps drop from 70-90 to 1 and immediatly after return to 70-90. Reinstalled BS, no problem. After patching that clean install to 1.01c the problem appear. Tryed 190.7, 195.55, 185.(don't remeber) Nvidia drivers, the problem is still here. With or without X-52pro, rudder pedals and TrackIR 3+VE the problem is here. Tryed minimum graphic settings, zeroed water and effects on options.cfg, no way. Anyone has an hint? excuse my terrible english and Saluti!
Panzertard Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Hello Topo. System drivers for your Windows 7 system, are they correct? (Disk / mainboard etc). There was another guy here on the forum who experienced the same thing as you, and he as not using the correct SATA/ICH chipset drivers. Maybe you could run a DXDIAG, save a Report and post it here? Topo Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Chipset and SATA drivers are updated. I've switched my SATA disk from "IDE emulòation" to "AHCI", form second to first SATA port, but the problem is'nt solved. How i can attach files? (DXdiag report) Thanks

Topo Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 More tests are needed, but uninstalling "Soundmax" program the problem seems to be solved; apparently no more freeze at startup, and just an half second freeze when my Kamov explode. Unfortunately, wife and daughters prevent more accurate tests. For now, Hope and thanks to all. @EtherealN: I see all message editing tools, but none of them are selectable; i tink this is a browser problem.
