Dusty Rhodes Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 That doesnt seem like a very good answer to me. I think the better answer would be "We are currently having trouble with paypal that we are working to get resolved as quickly as possible. We well let you know when this issue is resolved. sorry for the trouble and inconvenience this may have caused you." Dont you think? That sounds superb..........written by someone who's first language is English. What you wrote is what they meant, and has been stated already. Remember, ED is in Russia, run by Russian speaking people and English is not their primary language. RAM will help with MP and game performance. Also make sure you have the 10308 port forwarded if you are behind a router. It helps. Make sure you connect to a server at the requested connect speed, but in any case at least 128/128 (if you have broadband. If you don't have broadband, having dial up is prolly your problem). Do you have problems hosting at all? This might sound stupid and forgive me if it does, but are you sure you are connecting to a 1.1 hosted mission? (not questioning your smarts, just trying to cover the bases). If I think of anything else, I will drop in, but that is all I can think of right now. 44th_Baranth Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I have a 0 ping issue as well.... but I'm not going to worry til I get the full version of 1.1.... after I installed the demo.... my 1.0 started misbehaving.... yet I know they don't share anyfiles.... I thought the setting on my router was the issue... 0 ping started when I upped my http ports to 10 from 1.... might want to try backing them down to 1 http on your router HitnRun and see if the problem clears up.... the default port for http traffic is port 70... give it a try and see what happens....
Jetfire Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Since this is the refund thread, what's the policy with refunds? I'm not giving up on Lockon, but it seems the CD version of 1.1 is way more appealing since it might not have this "16 upgrades" issue. I have the downloaded version.
