alan1976 Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Hey all When I first started with the game, I could hover my mouse over a switch and it would tell me what it was for. That isn't working anymore. Does anyone know how to enable that again? I'm still a bit lost amongst all the switches :joystick: Thanks Alan
EtherealN Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Go into the Options screen, and make sure you have selected "Tool Tips" under the Gameplay tab. alan1976 Posted December 20, 2009 Author Posted December 20, 2009 Thanks. I just checked and "tool tips" is selected. I will try deselect and reselect to see if it helps. Any other ideas?
Distiler Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Depending on how the mission is made, you might have to check the "use these options for all missions" in order to use the ones you selected instead of the ones the mission maker chosen. AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
EtherealN Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Also, note that the mission designer can force the settings he wants, so it might indeed be the mission. You can verify that through the mission editor. Open the mission and find the "Mission Options" button, which is in the left-hand sidebar above the blue "Fly Mission" button. This will open settings that can be forced in the mission design, including tooltips. For tooltips to be forced off the left box should be checked and the right box unchecked. To force it on in the mission design both should be checked.
