I buy a french version DVD.

:mad:try 6 time to activate Dsc Black shark on proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php!!!!!!!

Why it doesn't work?:mad:

 

always the same error message!!!!!!!!!! (attached file)

I mail to the technical support but it seem to be closed

My french is very limited, but if I understood the above correctly data collection failed or got invalid data. Google translate tells me this: "Failure of activation. Data recording systems invalid. Click "Retry" to reactivate the application."

 

Could you retrieve a full error report? See the Troubleshoot wiki for more information here: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/Troubleshooting:starforce:5.x

 

EDIT:

Relevant points for collecting information on your case would be the following:

A full StarForce error report

To obtain it:

run the game;

when an error occurs, click on the "Information" button;

after the information is gathered, click on the "View Report" button;

save the opened report file as text.

 

and

 

In any case expert should also know

your Windows version (included in full StarForce error report);

number of the installed Windows service pack (if any) (included in full StarForce error report);

patch version (included in full StarForce error report);

DCS language;

patch language;

at what moment exactly does the error occurs.

 

Your error sounds like StarForce itself is being prevented from performing the systems analysis that is required to judge whether it is a new system. Check if your anti-virus program is set to prevent it and if so, disable that prevention.

 

However, you shouldn't have to activate it from that webpage. If you have internet access on that computer you should be able to activate from within the simulator. For this reason it would be very enlightening to have the above mentioned information about the procedure you have followed. Also, I assume you have verified that you have indeed used 6 activations through entering your serial number there and clicking "Serial Number Parameters"? I am slightly confused since you originally had 8 activations. If you have used 6 you should have 2 left.

i'm on XP version

 

French version installed

 

No patch

 

The error occurs after having enter the activation code i pick on proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php

So you are using version 1.0.0?

 

Could you list the exact procedure you followed when seeking to activate?

Also, have you tried activating when starting the simulator instead of through the website?

I first install BS.

 

I run the game, go to instant action.

A window open asking me the serial n°

I fill the form with my serial and clic on next button. the message : "Failure of activation. Data recording systems invalid. Click "Retry" to reactivate the application."

So i try again and go to the website : proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php.

I entered my serial and harware code to generate the activation code that i copy in the space dedicated and clic on next.

But the same error appear.......

 

I generate a view repport tha i send you in my precedent mail...

Have you been in contact with support@star-force.com ?

 

It looks like the system fails to detect your hardware or has a similar malfunction. You can also try updating your StarForce distribution ( http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/ ).

 

Also worth ensuring that there isn't anything strange with your serial number, which you can do at http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php , just enter the serial number (no hardware code) and press the Serial Number Parameters link.

something strange !! :

 

Every time i try to enter the activation code i pick on proactive.star-force.com, the harware code change.

 

That is interesting.

What confuses me is the fact that I have not needed to take any of the steps you are taking. Both times I have activated my copy I just entered my serial number, pressed a key and it was running.

 

The website method is meant for those cases when the computer that the product is installed on cannot connect to the internet itself. In those cases one would use protect.exe to retrieve a hardware code, then use a connected computer to activate through entering serial number and that hardware code. This then generates an activation you can use on the non-connected computer.

 

However, are you using any virtual hardware? WMware, DVD-drive emulator etcetera? Virtual hardware looks like real hardware to the operating system and will therefore change your hardware code.

yourized, if you run out of codes, Im sure ED will assist you with some new activations.

Reason for me saying this is that the activation may have changed in 1.0.1 - and it may be better to use that version before activating.

 

You also said support email was closed, did you try the support email listed here?; http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=423664&postcount=1

hi,thanks to answere me....

 

The LockOn.ru administrator answere me this morning an giving me a new serial...

 

I unistall my antivirus (AVG) and switch off windows firewall an try again to register.....:mad: same errors

 

I don't understand... All my other games are running good... Falcon 4, Lock on.

 

I'm really desapointed.....

 

 

I'll love to fly but i have no wings.........................................................AAAAAAARRRRRG

Don't use the website to activate. Just wait for DCS to ask for the serial.

Anyway, perhaps it's time to reinstall windows, it may be "broken"...something is strange and it's not DCS nor Starforce.
