VTJS17_Fire Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Hi folks, this is my first thread here, so "hello" to everybody. At present, i fly the hog very often. So, my first question is based on the Hog in FC. Sometimes i flew missions and have 28 chaff and 28 flares onboard. From start up on my parking position. But sometimes, i have 120 chaff and 60 flares on board. So, what ist the cause for this difference? My investigation into the causes after a few tests are follows. The difference isn't up to: - the internal fuel (more fuel -> more countermeasures, less fuel -> less cm) - the AN/ALQ 131 (ECM-pod decrease the quantity of cm) - the mission task (task cas -> increase the quantity, unlike no task) - additional, "secret" cm-dispenser So, what else remains to be done? Actually, my idea is, that the quantity of threats (SAM, AAA) manipulate the quantity of countermeasures. What do you think about this problem? Thanks for help. I say this because some servers run LRM, which will actually reduce the amount of chaff and flares available to the pilot (Though it's chaff only, I think). Otherwise, I have never hear of this. I was always under the impression that chaff and flares are set and cannot be changed. And welcome to the lockon forums! Aero 1 DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

I'm not a noob and i know the LRM. ;) But these differences happened offline and online. Not in the HL or on servers, were LRM is running. For example on our squad-server, free of mods or other stuff. But the differences don't occur in the same mission. Just in different missions. However, see my first post, the listed things are not the cause of it.
