104th_Crunch Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I setup a dual boot with Win7 / WinXP. In XP I installed Lock On and all my mods. Everything worked fine in singleplayer, but when I tried to connect to a server through Hyperlobby, or direct IP, I just get to the network connection screen and no further. The start button changes to cancel for a second, then goes back to start. I reinstalled LO from scratch, then did nothing else but start LO and try to connect to a server and I get the same issue!! I think my issue is outside of LO but I can't figure it out. VNC, IE8, Teamspeak, Hyperlobby all work. I also tried connecting to a server with my router unplugged and went straight into the modem as well as connecting to multiple servers. Anyone have any ideas please and thanks. Case Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 You have checked the network.cfg file right? And is the port 10308? There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
104th_Crunch Posted January 2, 2010 Author Posted January 2, 2010 Yes, from a fresh install network.cfg is there and I made sure port is at 10308. It's a strange issue I am having.
Sanch0 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 (edited) You should check your firewall/antivirus software maybe there is a problem. Perhaps your ISP is blocking some ports... Check other software with 10308 port.
