Changing Wingman command sound files?

Has anybody had any luck changing these files? I keep getting booted out of the game when one of my sound files begins to play!

 

I'm recording the sound files with the same exact bit rate as the originals.

Even tried them all in Ogg format with no luck and even deleted the messagedurationtable file..

 

Any ideas? I'm not digging the english speaking pilots with Russian accents..

1. The face that you even have a messagedurationtable.lua to delete means that you're running an unpatched version of the game. I very highly recommend patching to 1.01.

 

2. There is a mod on Lockonfiles.com that converts all the accented english chatter into russian.

I will have to check when I get home but I'm pretty sure I'm patched to 1.01!

 

I want the complete opposite of what you said! I still want English speaking pilots but with better voices.
