ScEBlack1 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I cannot get the sim to recognize any of my joystick inputs, if I click in the saitex x52pro slot across from any command ex: trim, lock etc etc...I cannot get the controller to be recognized, nothing at all happens. I have read through the faq's and here but cant find any help. I just got the sim today and I can't setup my joystick, any help would be greatly appreciated.
slug88 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Do you have a profile loaded in your Saitek profiler when you attempt to assign commands? If so, your joystick may be outputting keyboard commands, rather than joystick commands, depending on how you've designed the profile, in which case nothing will show up in the x52pro slot in DCS. ScEBlack1 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 I believe that may be the case, how do I change that?
ScEBlack1 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) Even when I use no profile at all and try to set up a button in the control panel I get nothing, yet, I do have a collum for my saitek x52pro, strange. My joystick is working and shows all the buttons working in the control panel of my windows 7. Edited February 5, 2010 by =ScE=Black1
ScEBlack1 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 Ok seems latest drivers for the X52pro do not work and dont allow the saitek section to show up under the "axis commands" section, switched to my old X52 and drivers and all is fine, go figure, thanks saitek!!
slug88 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 In case others experience a similar problem, would you mind sharing your operating system, and which driver version worked for you, as well as which version didn't? Btw, I'm on Windows 7 x64 with an X52Pro, and I believe I'm using the latest Saitek drivers, and all is working fine here. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ScEBlack1 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) intel core 2 duo E6850 @3ghz 8 gig ballistix Gold windows 7 ultimate I used the latest one's from saitek site, I believe they were like 6.6.6.6.? sorry I dleted them. then I installed my X52 (regular) with the latest drivers/software from from saitek and these worked. I did this today so what ever ones they have there now are the ones. So X52PRO did not work but X52 did. current: Driver: 6.2.2.0 software: 9.9.9.9 Edited February 5, 2010 by =ScE=Black1
