Im curious to see if any of you have used 3rd party software that lets you activate functions through voice. An example of this would be if you said "landing gear" and the landing gear dropped.

I have used the commands landing gear, shrink gate, expand gate, vicker, rockets, gun, and hover. I had a severe problem getting the HMS to work. I used the commands HMS and helmet for HMS with no luck. Shkval and targeting commands for shkval also seemed to not work, but overall it seemed very easy and very responsive. It should be mentioned that I have a very heavy southern accent so I am sure it would be much more responsive for most users than it was for me. Commands it did recognize I never had to repeat twice in hours of testing. I beleive this adds real value by making the simulation more user freindly. Say2Play can eliminate anything not on your hotas so with some creative commands you could eliminate the keyboard alltogether.

I tested this using a program called Say2Play, though I found 2 more programs and demos were available for all of them. You can set it to be "open" mic or have it activated by pushing a button, kind of like the push to talk function on teamspeak, so it should not interfere with communications. It is very easy to program and you can make any commands you want. Highly recommended if you have doubts download the demo and give it a go.

I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? QuickSilver original.

These titles are listed in the chronological order I purchased them.
