mvsgas Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I find it most interesting, though also challenging and frustrating to keep to the realistic limitation of only carrying one type of each weapon class - i.e. only one type of bomb and one type of unguided rocket. I'm not sure if this limitation also applies to guided missiles. I also try to limit the AI Su-25s to such payloads when creating missions. For example, if you load up S-8s, you cannot load up any other rocket type. If you load up RBKs, you cannot load up any other bomb type. You can mix different classes (i.e. rockets and bombs), but only one type per class. And again, this applies to unguided weapons. I'm not sure if it also applies to guided ones. After reading you posts EvilBivol, I started to look for photos or videos of the SU-25 in combat. I have not seen it carrying a mix load of weapons. Has anyone seen or have photos/videos of the SU-25 in combat with different weapons types? Just curious because I normally fly the SU-25 and normally I carry a mixture of weapons. But I think it would be fun and challenging if I have to carry for example all bombs or all rockets. Specially if I have to kill a Tor or Tunguska. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
mvsgas Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 (edited) Never mind, found some Hopefully, they won't say bad things in this video. I don't understand what they are saying, but if their flighline/aircraft ramp is like ours, there should be a lot of cuss words. If they say any, I apologize. Sorry I know is out of topic, but you guys see when they put water on the brakes? (3:21) Wow. Normally that does not affect brakes if it is raining or if the runway is wet. But to go from a dry hot brake and apply water like that, that's dangerous. We have been always taught that could damage the brake or weaken them. It could also cause the carbon in the brakes to come apart rapidly Edited March 25, 2010 by mvsgas To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.
