Mission building questions.

First off is there a good reference web page or downloadable document for mission building besides the encyclopedia in game, or is there a doc for the encyclopedia to download, it would make mission building easier for me.

 

Triggers, never figured these out, do I simply come up with my own? is there a document that has them to see what verses written into the triggers "trigger" what in game?

English GUI manual goes over all triggers built into the mission editor. Quite useful. Its where I learned specifics of what each trigger did and the rules they followed.
