I have a Saitek X52 (non-pro) and I can't seem to configure any of the buttons or axises. For example, the throttle axis is set to be the small slider on the side of the throttle, as the FAQ mentions, but I can't reconfigure it to use the correct axis. Similarly, trying to download and use a "premade" profile doesn't work, all buttons stay the same even though the Saitek software definitely recognizes it. What am I doing wrong?

How uptodate are your Saitek drivers and software (two separate downloads from the saitek.com website)? I'd start there, and make sure both are running successfully with the profiler icon in the system tray.

I believe I'd be right that the X52 (pro and non-pro) are quite a bit older than the game, and probably had some software updates even before DCS:BS was released.

I remember having the same issue when I started. My tower is headed to the shop so I don't have the settings available to give you.

What I did is clear the axis settings for the HOTAS in the game options itself, then configured the Saitek settings for the throttle slider in my profile.

Hope that helps.

You need to clear all the DX buttens befor a X52 profile will work. BS sees bothe the DX and the macro from the profile. So they are in conflict with each other. Or you can configure all the buttons in game.

Good luck
