Designated Targets

Hello !

 

I can't create a designated targets in mission mission editor of FC 2, only can set a single designate diamond in area , but, if i have many targets or , a single target moving fast... i can't put some designate diamonds in all of targets or in a single target moving .... i'm realize that, if a have a wingman, he spot all of targets stoped or moving, no matter.... i made a simply test about it... i edited a quick start (A-10), and, if delete a wingman and fly alone, i can't select those targets anymore....

 

Coul'd you help me guys, i'm sure that i making mistakes about this !! :cry:

If you have a group of vehicles and set the whole group as a target then when you destroy the first one targeting diamond will switch to next unit in the group. If it's single units by themselves you will have to set each one as a target.

Thanks Kuky, in waypoint of one of my planes, and i selected targeting and, put a radius in wole target of map... and selected inside target categories, point and ground vehicles.... the diamond stay in one place of map aways and, if a remove the checkbox (point), and leave only ground vehicles checked , its just disappear the diamond.... it's strange that !! if i made same this and put one wingman, when wingman spots target, and YES... diamonds appears in all of targets ... strange too !

 

If targets are moving, that make a more difficult to find them ! :cry:

so you set target as target area (and units within) and not on the unit group itself? Hm... maybe FC2 ME is different from FC1 but in FC you could set the unit group as target... maybe some other mission builders from BS or FC2 can help as I haven't been making missions in them yet, at least haven't assigned any target units or area. Sorry I can't help more
