How to adjust sound

I want to increase the sound in my cockpit..

I was looking at the menu, and see under sounds, 'GUI' what does that GUI slider do in the options menu?

I still am trying to adjust the sounds, it is very hard for me to hear the engines while in the cockpit of the SU-25T

 

I have been reading the PDF file manuals looking for more info.

note: I wear a headset with mic.

 

I do not have music on in game,, the music sound slider is set to the lowest setting..

al my sopunds are set to max in game..

I don't use a soundcard in my computer I use the onboard sounds on my motherboard.
