I hit the space bar & nothing happens. Must be overlooking something simple.

You have to hold the pickle button for more than 2 secs in order to work.

If not, check the Manual inside your Doc folder, page 287.

Upon reaching maximum launch range, maneuver the aircraft to position the target marker within the missile launch zone reticle. Once aiming is complete, the target line-of-sight symbol will be within the missile launch zone reticle.

Did you place the locked target inside the circle that's in the middle of your hud?

That's how I'd read that quote from the docs (and whilst I've not fired a vikr from a plane yet, it's how you have to do it in the ka-50).

Line those circles up, placing one inside the other, hold launch trigger until the weapon releases.

I don't think the lazer the V travels down has the range of motion the camera does so you have to navigate your target inside that circle and press/hold fire button. That's how the VICK is modeled in Black Shark and I'm assuming that's how they're fired (more realistic).

That's it topdog. I don't think that was the case in FC1, so I never thought of it. Thanks for the tip
