rushina Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) What does it mean when your LCD monitor starts to slowly dim out on the corners of the screen? It's not that noticeable but if your face was about 2 inches away from touching the screen you can see that the screen brightness just starts to get dimmer as it approaches the corner. The screen itself is fine. Thanks. ______________________ keyword research ~ keyword tool ~ keyword tracking ~ affiliate elite Edited April 6, 2010 by rushina all is well

Scudslaker Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 for me it seems that the software of your LCD, features dynamic adjusting of brightness in dependance of the picture content, to lower panel depending "cloud effects" that can alternately be seen straight in corners of bigger lcd panels when dark pictures are shown(mostly DVD user or gamer see this effect with grey zones in the corners while dark/black pictures are shown). how many inches do you have, as i know, this effect appears from the format!) you can have a check to the lcd menu to find out, if you can turn this dynamic control manually to off cheers Scud TM HOTAS WH :joystick:, Saitek Pro Pedals, Track IR 4, 2xJoyWarrier, 1x KeyWarrior, i52500k @4600MHz, ASUS P8Z68-V Pro, NV 670GT, SSD+ WD BC+ WD Raptor, 32HD:pilotfly:[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
