Pigwiggen Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 In A-G mode with the Grach, when I select the Shkval TV, it appears as expected. However, when I then try to add in the laser with Shift-O, whilst it appears on the HUD as L, as soon as I let the keys go, the laser switches itself off again. Doesn't show any signs of needing to cool down either. If I check that the keys are operating with Wordpad, all appears as normal. Any helpful solutions to this irritating problem or do I have to give up with the Su-25T? Many thanks for any help. EvilBivol-1 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I just did a quick test and my laser stays on after I press and let go the command (RShift O). - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules
Pigwiggen Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 Thanks for that. I'll try that RIGHT shift. Can't be as easy as that, can it? Win7 Pro 64 bit SP1 AMD Atlon 64x2 5000+ 8 GB DDR2 M2N-ESLI 2048 GB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 335 GB Corsair Force GS ATA device (SSD) Saitek X52 Pro Track IR 5
Pigwiggen Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 No...that didn't work either. What can be causing this glitch? Perhaps I need to reassign that key input to a different one. Pigwiggen Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Further testing has shown that the flaw is with my X52 Saitek Pro stick. With out any pre-programmed profile there is no problem with that Shift-O input. With ANY profile I've done there is. back to Saitek. Panzertard Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Further checkpoint: - If you have rudder pedals or other controls - the control-columns in the Game Options Controls may contain a RSHift+O as well. You need to clear any excess assigmenets not in use - for all controllers. The game input mechanism may get a few hickups if you have same assigments to many controllers - even if that controller doesn't support it. (Especially rudders). - A few people have figured they may need to disable the clucth control in Saitek. I'm not sure for what reason they had to do this - but if it interfering with the Input mechanism of the game, that may be one thing to test. The mind is like a parachute.
