hello guys, just wanted to share with you me experience. Since I bought DCS BS I had in almost every flight an error of dcs.exe or *.dll errors or every kind of error you can get.

Posted here my logs (the error msg were the same as reported by many users) without any result.

Tried to change XP to Win7, all drv version of my ati 4850, nothing... every flight ended with an error, was really frustrated!!

Untill I tried to set my ram speed of my corsair ddr2 1066 (533x2) CL5 set @2.2v as stated on the modules, down to 400mhz and voltage on auto. This fixed the problem definitely!! and I couldn't see any performance loss.. maybe I could have worked on different voltage of modules but those are what stated on the modules... and I hade similar issues only on BS and FSX, while nothing running on many other fps games.

now I've been flying for several weeks with any kind of errors

hope it will helps

cheers

Interesting.

How do you change the RAM parameters?

the ram parameters could be easily set in the bios (then bios section depends on the type of mb), in the memory section. The voltage can be set manually typing the value or set on auto (default) as well as for speed chioce.

The curious thing is that all the time I had a problem while flying BS didn't cause a CTD but only esc to main BS menu. Every flight ended like that. Never finished a mission without an error. And every time with different module name errors, the same as many users accounted in their logs error. After downgrade the memory speed and voltage it has NEVER happened again. I guess ram is heavily stressed on sims like BS and FSX and maybe I could give a try to step the voltage from 2.2 to 2.3, but I spent weeks to try to understand what the problem was and now all I want is a stable system, and now that's what I've got.:)
