Hey guys, does anyone else have a problem with this? I'm using the W key banded...but am only able to use the brake if the rudder is centered.

Weird. When taxing if I'm in a turn I have no toe brake. Is this just me or what? F.Y.I. kinda funny when you run into the tail of your wingman's plane......there was actual slight tail cap damage. (A-10) Sweet! Way to go ED!

I've been using bands with W for years now. I have never had any problems with it. Here's how my toe brakes bands look like:

Have you checked within FC2's "Axis Commands" to make sure everything's set up correctly? In Black Shark, I have to set the pedals "JoyY" to "wheelbrakes" (although I'm pretty sure FC2 does not have this option) and "JoyZ" to "rudder". If FC2 doesn't have a wheelbrakes axis option, then just verify that JoyY is not assigned to anything.

Sorry guys went trout fishing yesterday...thanks =4c= Hajduk Veljko for a sample profile, I changed mine the same way...but I think GregP nailed it. In the axis menu I still had a "JoyZ" in the pedal column when I thought I had erased all the double assignments. Works now! Now I can finally taxi! Thanks again all for the help.

I have the same problem.

I use an all-CH gear and usually I have been using the CH manager to do the programming of my HOTAS. It was easy to assign 'W' to the toebrake, although it was not an 'axis' but rather a crude brake.

Now, for the heck of it, (and perhaps following one advice by Wags that it was far better to use the in-game profiler for each aircraft) I have been doing my programming in-game for LOFC2. The program works great!

But... There seems to be no axis for toebrake and the keys list doesnt recognize the toebrake axis of the CD pro pedals as a key either...

any ideas, Wags?

Perhaps in an uncoming patch, these axis could be added?

right and left independantly?:D

thanks

bump?

:music_whistling:Anything from ED about this problem?

I find it very annoying to land (with AFM) and leave my Hotas to type a stupid 'W' to brake...

Is there a plan to implement a toebrake axis please?

Thanks Lightning

Unfortunately no. I have made the decision to go for a direct mode with the CH control manager and do all the assignations WITHIN LOFC2 as counseled by WAGS himself... That means a lot of programming (several hours) and it is now done and very flexible (because of differences between aircrafts). But that means that I cannot use the mapped mode (as I used to) to assign ''W'' for the wheel brakes on the toebrake axis...

I am very surprised that there is no way to set this up within FC2 (I am pretty sure they forgot...)

Thanks anyway!
