Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem? I have the efa mod installed and when I try to fly any plane other than whats with LOFC2 I get this.

There is a problem with your Config\View\Server.lua, which sets the cockpit positions of all planes (CockpitLocalPoint or something like that).

 

Try reinstalling just this very file from the efA MoD. If that doesn't work, try downloading the mod again.

 

Note: if you install any mod that changes the same file (server.lua, like I think Simmid's A-10), you will get that same problem. The solution to this issue is to manually make the modifications required, so that the mods are compatible.

Yes. There's one of everything flyable in EFA on stallturn.com. Mission ain't flash but externals are on so you can do some nice movies (using lottu of course :)). Landing a B-52 "Buff" nicely is a lot different to an Eagle.

Ya., I had a buzz around in a Foxhound today on that server. Nice work. Although by the time I joined, there was S-300's and Patriots everywhere. :joystick:

 

One thing though, all external views are available in real time, online.

So ya./ I had to add the line items for Su-24 (which works for actual ingame Su-24M4) in the scripts folder and change the cockpit to Su-25t. This allows employment of the SEAD missiles using the Phantas. pod. :) Using the Su-24 for SEAD is a breath of fresh air. I think in the future some handy utility for swapping the cockpits around for different roles for some of these aircraft would be a nice addition.

You don't like the external views on stallturn? I left them on so you could easily admire your EFA aircraft (since not much fighting goes on on that server).

well, in the event of some guys joining for a fight, external views would be a turn off I guess..

If this has been posted I am very sorry. I have read much here but not all, and I might have missed something.

 

The cockpits are not alligned in any of the aircrafts. To low if you know what I mean.

I am more of a "just fly guy" so I am not used to fiddle with settings in this game. Not in scripts anyway.

Now, it is nice to have all these aircrafts to fly about with, but not enjoyable from external view and not with the landing gear in my face from internal view.

 

What am I doing wrong. HEEEELP! :)

Something is probably wrong with your Server.lua. If you have installed other mods that replace this file, then you won't have the cockpit positions right. Try reinstalling the efA MoD (or just this particular file from the mod) and tell me if that makes it work ;) (be sure to check that server.lua is highlited in green in Modman)

Looking good! There was a limited, experimental server, Stallturn. But its password protected now. :(

Unfortunately, for SEAD, you'll need to use the Su-25T cockpit (and add a phantasmagoria pod to your aircraft). Don't know about online servers

If you get Mavericks and AGM-88 to work for most of the airplanes, I am sold. :D

Seriously you are doing a great work, I remember in lockon 1.12 you could fly F-16 and everything else but you couldn't use mavericks or SEAD missiles. I think it could be great to get those working because it could improve missions.

Shame it is not possible to add new cockpits I don't get why developers don't let that to happen.

Well I thought the mod worked great until I uninstalled the mod replace my folders as instructed and now I get a frozen SP game and in MP no cockpit track ir movement.. :(

I have a copy of LockOn for each of the major mods I use (104th compatibility, VNAO, EFA). I simply rename the directory of the one I want to use to the default LockOn directory name (I could use multiple icons on my desktop with different paths but I don't want to do that). All it takes is some extra disk space and I don't need to keep re-installing, plus I know that I pass all the required Integrity Checks for each server (well, my LockOn install does anyway).

yes but you know what your doing I'm just a gamer. I do see that maybe I should of deleted the scripts and config folder then copy the vanilla in and that may have worked?

Hey Hood, I keep seeing where you say " use cockpit so and so " like the Su-25 cockpit for the F-16 for ground work. How do you change the cockpit from one aircraft to another?
