Dear everyone,

I never heard back from ED support and after alot of testing on my own part, I think I have a solution for some of you that are suffering from "Sound Stutter" that's wrecking your game.

If you have an ATA drive, right click on the drive in "My computer" Then goto "Hardware", then, click on "Properties". After that goto "Policies".

Once there, Enable both "write caching" and "Advanced Performance"

VOILA!

The usual 5 minute load time for me was down to under 1 minute, no hiccups and a solid 75FPS on clear days.

Also, I noted that some users are experiencing increases by setting their default NVIDIA drivers to application controlled.

FOR AA, VSYNC and Threaded optimization select 'Auto" or "Application Controlled".

For those of you stuttering pilots, let me know if this helps you!!!

Sincerely,

Michael

Ah, yes, some drivers & installations results in that you run a computer without write caching - especially if you have configured Windows "as a server".

Normally this should be on for workstations - but it's a good reminder indeed.
